I find it weird how Duolingo makes it easy to add on so many languages at once. I mean, obviously, someone could have a level 1 on the app but be fluent, just not practicing on Duolingo. But why is it that language learners eagerly switch languages on the app when it's sort of a widely known thing to not pursue more than maybe one of two languages at a time (of course, if you have a lot of time on your hands, I'm sure you could do more, and I amend you for that)? Is it because it is so easy to do? Because it is like a game, and therefore easier?
