Okay so I've experimented with both and I have found that when I take the extra minute or two to look up each and every word and understand the sentence as a whole, I'm better able to answer the flashcard when it appears. Whenever I memorize, I get frustrated, have a hard time, and want to delete the card. I can repeat it one-hundred times. Is there any science to this? What has been your anecdotal experience?
