I’ve been learning Spanish since about 2012, but my progress is very slow. I have an intense fear of speaking the language, although I can write and understand fairly well. My boyfriend is an international student from Spain, and eventually I will have to go to meet his family. What are some ways to help me get over my fear? My Spanish would get so much better if I was brave enough to try to have a conversation with him.
