So, I’m 29 years old and have been trying to learn Spanish off and on basically for 16 years now 🙄 4 years in middle/high school, a year in college, DuoLingo as an adult. Turns out when traveling I know just enough to make others think I speak the language but then very quickly have to explain that no, my language is very limited in reality.
What are your recommendations? I live outside Atlanta, GA and there’s a decent Spanish population but not enough that I interact with regularly or in my work whatsoever.
Any recommendations? What worked for you as an adult learner?
