I’m going to Montréal in April. I already have sources for French, mostly grammar and vocab. I just need sources for speaking and listening. I’m pretty confident in my grammar and vocabulary studies, just listen comprehension and speaking are what I’m worried about. I heard that Québécois speakers are very understanding and somewhat slow at speaking in comparison to French people. Is that true? Would I be able to get away with not speaking as fast or fluently as a French person, or as a Québécois person?
