I'm learning Portuguese to go to the Azores islands next summer, and Babbel is teaching me verbs using parallel second and third person. (Como, come, come, comemos, comem, comem). But when I check out verbs online, all persons are unique (como, comes, come, comemos, comeis, comem). Which form is commonly used in European Portuguese? I don't want to sound bad!
