Swedish friend moved to US permanently over 10 years ago yet still speaks with a thick Swedish accent. How long until he loses it/adopts an American English accent? Then again, I don’t think he is really actively trying to, but I could be mistaken. His kids however, got rid of theirs extremely fast. I feel he’s just being stubborn haha.
