My dad's from North Africa, and my mom speaks Arabic too. I, on the other hand, speak like three words of it. It makes me sad that I'll never be able to speak it without an accent, and as much as I want to learn it, I've already started on two other languages and want to get a bit better at those two before I start learning. Has this happened to you guys and did you manage to learn your parents' language?
