When I first started studying Japanese, I had already been learning French for a little less than a year. Well, after perhaps two months into studying Japanese, I realized that I had started dropping the h's from my Japanese words because I was so used to not pronouncing them when I spoke French! So words like 部屋 (heya) became "eya" and 日本語 (nihongo) became "ni'ongo." It was a relatively easy mistake to correct, but now I'll probably accidentally start ending my French sentences in ~desu or ~masu or something.
Have any of you made small (or large) language blunders like that while learning?
