My kid just started high school spanish 1 and the teacher has given them 70 words a week to memorize. The class was told they would be learning over 1500 words in the semester so I don't expect the pace to slow down.
It has been years since I took a language class so I just was wondering if this is reasonable. He is struggling even though he is spending over an hour each night studying. Any words of advice to help him?
