I am learning Korean and I mostly type (and don't use spellchecker). After using Memrise for so long it almost feels like spelling entered my muscle memory.
It's not a huge difference but I noticed that when I go to write by hand, which is a much rarer occurrence than typing, I hesitate and am suddenly unsure how to spell words which I know I would spell correctly instantly if I were using a keyboard.
Is this bad? Does it mean I am like a trained monkey who knows how to do stuff without fully understanding? :)
