So, I'm an English native speaker who learned French over a number of years of self study. I'm now ready to pick up my next language, but I have no preference on what I might want to learn. I'm motivated by media (especially film/television, but definitely literature as well).
In your opinions, which languages (other than English) has the best television/print media. Which languages have, on average, the best production value in their tv/movie industry? Which has the most variety?
