Long story short... 我想去中国学中文，可是我没有钱。
I’ve had one semester of Chinese. I’m pretty good. But not conversational yet. I just don’t see an end... when will I be able to carry a conversation? My accent and tones are pretty good. But I just feel so elementary...
Going into my second semester, I’m going to be doing a lot of immersion stuff. (Listening to music, radio, tv in Chinese). Hoping that will help.
Any tips on how to speed up the process of being conversational in this language (or any for that matter) without living there?
