Learning Arabic?

Hi all!

Ive been wanting to learn arabic for years now but never had the time to dedicate to it. I have the time now (!) but I'm wondering what the most "useful" or widely understood form of arabic is that I should start with? I know there are different kinds and I've always heard that Moroccan arabic is incredibly different than what is spoken in other areas. Do you guys have any advice/ideas?
