I've seen too many posts in the sub asking "which language is easier". Being easier is not a motivation for learning a language. It might give you a quicker start but you will only keep learning if you are motivated because it is useful for you or that you enjoy learning the language. By the way, a language will become easier when you are interested in the culture, when you enjoy reading books and watching movies in the target language.
Too many people want to become a "polyglot" just for the sake of boasting.
