In September I will spend 4 weeks in Lisbon doing an immersion program. I would say I'm currently at a low B2 level in Portuguese but they will give me a test when I arrive to place me in a class. The classes will be from 9AM-2PM 5 days a week and the rest of my time I'm free to do whatever. I will be living alone but I know some family friends in and around the city.
How can I maximise my experience and learning during the month? Is it better to continue to do some study in the evening after the classes or should I be going out and meeting people to practise Portuguese?
