I just tried to chat to a group of local youth outside a bar and after a few exchanges in French and comments on my studies they just went back to their own conversations. After I couldn't get their attention I just waved bye and walked away.
Do you feel confident in inserting yourself into a group of locals in an attempt to join a conversation?
