I'm new to language learning, and I'm sorry if this question gets asked a lot, but I've heard that you can never truly achieve a native speaker accent or pronunciation if you were not taught when you were little. For instance, I could learn Swedish, but I would never be able to perfectly pronounce the ö, ä, å, sk, etc sounds and I would always speak with an American accent. Is this true?
