Do you guys think that trying to speak a language even with a scarce vocabulary can help improve linguistic skills?
I thought about babies, and how few words they know when they are little, nonetheless they try to speak and make do with those little words they know.
Could we apply this case to an adult person who's trying to learn a new language? For example say I'm learning French, and in the first week I learned 100 words, will my "trying to have a conversation with myself with those few words I know" and trying to make sense with them, improve my communication skills on that language?
