At what stage is it acceptable to live in the country of your desired language (in order to improve, not to start a career etc)

I have been learning 8 months and I would say I will be B1 before my 12 months. Is it appropiate for me to live in a place like Mexico even though I dont understand alot? Would this be too early or okay?
