Resources for learning German and Swedish

I was wondering if the link below was a decent resource. I'm trying to find a good book to learn Swedish from, for my job. And, a German book, so I can brush up on my own German, and teach my girlfriend a bit of it. Anyone have any good suggestions? I found this book on Amazon, but don't want to commit unless it's a decent book.
