Anybody else have the problem of wanting to consume mostly english language media instead of target language media?

All the media I want to consume is in english. The shows, movies, podcasts, video games and books backlog are all predominantly american; and while i'm sure there's lots of stuff I would like in my target language it's kind of depressing how much more vast and appealing american media is in comparison. Anybody else have this problem? How do you keep yourself from giving side glances to all the familiar stuff you want to absorb?
