***I quit Duolingo***. No amount of grinding streaks in this app really rewarded me with any language skill at all. Therefore I quit.
I quit Duolingo, but I didn’t quit learning languages.
I am still thinking how I will proceed from now on, and therefore I wanted to ask you, if there is any alternative app that leads to actual language skill acquisition?
If you should not be aware of any good alternatives, but you have working/promising learning methodology, please consider sharing it.
Eventually, since a friend of mine is a software developer, I hope to get him to build a alternative app.
That means, if you know great alternative apps, I’d love to hear about them, if not any ideas, what a good app would need and how it could work, would also be highly appreciated.
