To clarify, I'm not talking about the quality of the apps or anything like that, but I've seen more than a few posts in this sub talking about how people are using them as dating apps now, and it's become just as miserable as real dating apps.
Has that been your situation as well? Will it be easier to, being a man, find more reliable study partners? Or is it actually worse if you're a man? And, is there an app you would recommend where people are actually trying to learn? I'm happily married, I just don't wanna waste my time.
For context, my (TL) is Spanish, I'm C2 in English, and I'm trying to learn French.
