Recently I’ve been reading translated Spark Notes for classic books I’m mildly interested in. It’s actually pretty fun. I paste into an AI the entire page and ask for a natural Spanish translation (obviously not perfect, but good enough for me).
Then while I was there I figured I’d add some conveniences. I prefer in-text translation for uncommon words to help keep my flow. I started asking it to bold the subjunctive so that I might more intentionally ingest it. I even added brackets around B2 & up grammar so that I can be prepared to lock in when it comes up.
Have you tried similar techniques? What tips or tweaks do you use for reading like this?
