'm trying to build a small language learning community here in Montreal in my target language (TL) French. There are a lot of people in the city learning French, I always loved the idea of a book club.
We've decided on our first book: Le Petit Prince. We'll have discussions about it, of course, but one of the activities I'm planning is acting out scenes from the book. I've been using AI to help generate dialogue scenes, and the plan is for members to perform them together as a fun, low pressure environment to practice speaking
Does anyone have suggestions on how to grow and run a community like this? what kind of activities would work for a group environment.
