I’ve been using WorldsAcross for Spanish and recently learned that some tutors in Colombia may be earning less than the local minimum wage.
This is frustrating since the platform has increased the subscription price, but the extra money doesn’t seem to be going toward tutor pay or fixing long-standing bugs. The app still has basic UI issues like disappearing text boxes when booking a class on mobile, or tutors appearing available for booking when they actually aren’t.
