Is writing on Google docs considered practicing writing for language learning?

So I discovered language learning as a hobby 7 years ago , but actually studied 2 years ago. I began with German reached early B1 , and will start Spanish this summer. I have a question , I know that to improve in a language I must practice writing as a skill. Does writing on my laptop or phone count as writing practice for language learning? or do I need to buy a notebook for it?
