How to answer to people claiming "No need to learn language from country X"

When trying to learn language (TL), people try to convince the learner it's pointless.

Mostly it goes like "people there, they all speak English anyway" (regarding Finland, Sweden, The Netherlands), or, you will always find someone who speaks English there (regarding Germany or France)
