Your multilingual learning routine?

Can you share what your learning process looks like right now, if you’re learning more than one language?

I’m at around a CEFR B2 level in Spanish. I just lowered my usual 2 weekly iTalki conversation sessions to one per week, because I’ve started focusing on other languages. I listen to podcasts in the car all the time, watch YouTube videos in Spanish, and read a comic (El Eternauta). I’m at a comfortable level where I can better my level with native level materials.

I started Japanese again this year (which I’m at a pretty beginner level), but decided to focus on Mandarin first, because I’m taking a Chinese class together with my wife this summer. I’ve been interested in both languages, and eventually I would like to get more proficient in Japanese than Mandarin, but Mandarin is also one of my recent obsessions. Learning the hanzi and kanji is so fun. I think I’ll dedicate next year to Japanese, and getting a good base with Mandarin gets this year’s focus.
