Please ignore the "if you know these words, you are B2/C1/etc" videos on YouTube

I have a lot of language learning videos in my feed, an one particular type that grinds my gears is this:

The person (usually a language tutor) repeats a dozen of words from the language and suggests that this is an indication of your CEFR level.

And I understand that it's not supposed to be that serious, and I don't have to watch it, but it is still potentially very misleading to the people who are more casual learners.

These videos are very popular no matter the language, and it is essentially low effort engagement bait - "what words did you know? Leave a comment", that has very little to do with your abilities, so don't be upset if you dont't know some bullshit word like "dromedary".
