Hey everyone, I’m not a developer, just a guy who brainstorms a lot—and I’ve been running into a problem that I think a lot of language learners share.
When I’m chatting on WhatsApp with Spanish speakers, I constantly bounce between WhatsApp and Google Translate—type, copy, paste… it breaks the flow of conversation and makes it harder to learn.
Here’s the idea: • A keyboard that lets you type in your native language. • Right above it, you see the instant translation into your target language. • You can tap either version to send. • Over time, you start recognizing patterns, grammar, and vocabulary while you’re actually chatting—no flashcards, no switching apps.
Think of it as a “real-time bilingual keyboard,” not just a translator.
I don’t care about making millions—I just want to see this exist because it could help so many people learning languages or connecting across cultures.
👉 Question for devs/entrepreneurs: • Does something exactly like this exist already? • If not, how hard would it be to build as an MVP keyboard app? • Anyone here passionate about languages who’d like to run with this idea? (If you build it, I’d be your first user and biggest cheerleader.)
Thanks for reading 🙏
