No AI Learning (Correcting Textbook)

Hi everyone, i’m eager to continue my learning of (Scottish) Gaelic, and Korean. I’ve had previous studies of Gaelic, and very little of korean, my passion was sparked by remembering learning an incredibly small part of it doing TKD as a child. I know learn Gaelic dot scot exists but I was looking for an app/a tool with feedback similar to duolingo but with no AI. I don’t trust myself to learn from textbook without corrections. for anyone who’s curious here’s the reasons I dislike AI:

  • language is an inherently human thing to learn. formality, dialect, slang and sarcasm etc relies on being human and the experience of being so.
  • in cases like duolingo they fired a LOT of employees to replace them with ai. this is unfair, unethical (especially with my first point) and uneconomical
  • ai costs us a LARGE amount of water to use -ai learns from everything it’s fed regardless of its correct or not, and regardless of context.

even if there’s not an app is there a way to self correct any textbook learning? my main issue is that I can read and write as much as I like but I’m really doubting i can get it right.
