to inquire. as the title says, what defines being bilingual? sure google says fluency in two languages. but what about if you're learning another language, and you're at an intermediate point? you don't know everything but you can understand a lot, and have conversations. it isn't fluency, but it's a further understanding than beginner; you think in the language and engage with it daily. but if it isn't being 'bilingual,' what is it?
