Not entirely sure where to post this but I figure this is as good of a place as any. To keep this brief I’m an 18M Romanian but my parents moved to America when I was 3 and barely speak to me the language (I mean, to the point I had to teach myself how to read in Romanian) and I apparently speak with a horrible accent and have a really bad grasp on the grammar, but I understand basically everything spoken to me in Romanian (I can watch shows in Romanian without subtitles, for example) so I’m not sure where to start with relearning the language. I feel absolutely humiliated to ask my parents or friends to speak the language to me because I’m genuinely incomprehensible in it. Any advice would be great, thank you
