I made an anagram-solver game that you can play in English and Spanish, and I was surprised by how difficult it is for non-native speakers to play. A lot of my friends are non-native English speakers but have a very good level of English, but still almost none of them can play win this game. But a lot of non-native speakers can play Wordle decently well.
The game is called Eightile and it's free to play at https://eightile.com/ It could even be a source of new vocab words for you if you're learning English or Spanish. But it's just a language game like Duolingo, not really serious language study. Still it can be fun to try in your target language.
Another thing that surprised me was how hard it was to adapt the game in Spanish. Linguistically it works well in Spanish (maybe even better than in English), but the resources available online made it so much harder. This game requires an open source electronic dictionary and a bunch of text in a language to be able to generate 1 game per day. You can find those things for Spanish, but most of them are horribly incomplete. I'd love to support more languages too. Let me know if you'd like to see it in another language!
