Learning a language just from being exposed to it?

I am moving to Austria for 6 months next year. Other than some common words or phrases, I cannot speak German. Do you think I'll be able to learn German just by being in Austria, listening and reading in German for 24/7? I have already set all my electronic devices to German so that I can help this process. Admittedly I am taking classes of German but there is no way I will be learn enough before I leave
