While in Portugal recently, I discovered and purchased over 100 letters between a couple starting in 1972. I know they are love letters as they begin with Meu Amor or Carinho and they often include words of love at the end. They are all handwritten and long letters. I have a Portuguese-English common usage dictionary and looked up a few of the words to confirm the shared affection between the writers.
I would like to be able read them to at least get the idea of what they are writing to each other. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on learning to READ portugese?
