Hearing comprehension

So, I’ve tried to learn a language through multiple methods. Definitely what got me the farthest what focusing on academic readers like “French for Reading” by Karl Sandberg. It focuses only on academic reading comprehension (which I need for academic field) and I found that in 6 months—I can read most things I encounter in French even fast moving stuff like subtitles. However, now that I can read French, I’d like to work on auditory comprehension in particular. I’m using Pimsleur to perfect my accent, Language Transfer to work sentence building, and I was wondering if there was a program that just worked your auditory comprehension in a more robust way than pimsleur. Recommendations?
