hey guys! i’m looking into the Middlebury summer program for Chinese. i was wondering if anyone could help share their experiences with the language pledge and staying in contact with friends, family, and your significant other while there.
since i’d be there for 8 weeks, i was hoping i’d be able to have my family or friends come and visit for a weekend but the more i look into it the more i realize i probably will not be able to. i’m worried about missing friends and my girlfriend and want to ensure i’ll still be able to have that support system while i’m there, even if it’s through the phone. lmk your experiences!
also, if you’ve gone i’d love to just hear your thoughts overall! was it worth it, in your opinion?
