I have spent the last year trying to learn Chinese. It’s been a slow process because it’s more of a hobby. I am making progress and reached a personal milestone by reading short stories with only Chinese characters.
But lately I feel kind of like learning something new to take “breaks” from my Chinese studies.
At the same time I don’t know how good idea it is. Will it affect my Chinese studies too much? Should I chose a language that is somewhat similar like Japanese?
What has your experiences been?
