The rule of acquired taste

I’m a Spanish native speaker, C2 English and advanced Italian because of family and school background.

My partner and I have plans to move to Portugal in 2025 and want to set things up, but Portuguese language doesn’t catch my attention at all.

Would you recommend some resources to learn about history, genealogy, art or other topic about Portuguese language? I’m really trying to get to the point where discipline beats motivation.
