How often is the IPA used in the dictionaries other than English ones?

I get that the English language is relatively inconsistent in terms of its orthography but the IPA can be really beneficial especially when you're just starting out. The dictionaries I used (for German and Turkish) never had IPA transcription in them. How common is it in other languages? Is it because I tend to opt for the cheaper dictionaries? lol
