I want to estimate total hours studied in 2024. Recording this for all 365 days is tedious. A random sample of N days is desired. But if I know which N days I need to record, I’ll be biased to study more these days. If I give someone else the N days and have them ask me the next day how many hours I studied last night, I’ll just be ball-parking. What can I possibly do?
