For a bit of backstory, I’m learning the O’odham language [for family and tradition], and one of my main resources for new words is the Mathiot dictionary (my other main resource is the Salt River Cultural Resources Department’s YouTube channel). Today I was going over words that begin with “K” and found this utter beauty. Anyone else know about/ever find oddities like this in their target language?
