Hi friends,
I've given up on using Anki for SRS. I'm not retaining any of the information. Using a notebook and writing sentences works better for my brain.
In the meantime, I've created Anki cards (words, phrases, etc) for the French and English translation, notes with additional meanings, pronunciation cheats, pictures, and sound clip from Forvo.
Should I use Anki as a reference database? Or are there other ways to utilize Anki that isn't straight up memorization?
Or how do people keep track of the words they've learned?
