Hello. I'm 17, a year from finishing school, and planning to learn German in my gap year, doing 2-3h a day. My target is A2-B1. Some of my friends also intend to learn, and they've all started with duolingo already. I don't intend to use duolingo in the gap year.
I'm worried that I'll get significantly behind because they've started far earlier. Is it worth joining in the duolingo to build some foundation or waiting before I commit to it?
I'm very busy with life atm and already do ~80 flashcards a day.
