What do you do with all the languages that you once learned but you reached only a lower intermediate level at best and never had the chance to live in that country or work in that language?
The title says all practically. Besides cultural interest and bumping into a person from that country once in a blue moon, what else do you do with languages in which you never reached a level of fluency?
And going further when you know there's a high chance you will never move to that country and not intend to master the language either, what motivates you to go on learning? Is the love of learning and getting to know a new culture enough motivation on the long run?
