I think most of us can agree that learning vocabulary is one of the hardest parts of language learning. And one of the best ways to acquire vocabulary is to use it.
That being said: I currently live in the country of my TL, and the other day I went to the doctor. Suddenly I realized I had no clue how to explain, in the local language, why I was there. Words about my health just aren’t frequent enough for me to have used and learned them.
So, I’m looking for advice on how others have learned these types of words.
