I noticed that the German (senseful) translation for „Cannot bother less“ translated word-by-word says „It can‘t not matter more for me“ which is weird as English say they are less caring, while Germans say, that they can’t not care more. I noticed this happening on other sayings too.
Does anyone in here know why this is? Is it just a thing that happens, or has it some historical reason?
